 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of products provided by AJ Societe (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our website from AJ Societe. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

About AJ Societe

AJ Societe is an Australian-based sock company committed to providing high-quality grip socks. We work closely with our trusted suppliers to ensure our products are manufactured to a high standard, offering both comfort and effective grip for everyday and active use.

We sell and deliver Products only within Australia. Orders from outside Australia will not be accepted.

These Terms do not attempt to exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Any term that is inconsistent with a non‑excludable statutory right is overridden to the extent of inconsistency.

Eligibility & Registration

You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a guardian) to place an order. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information (name, address, payment, contact). You agree not to impersonate anyone or provide false information.

How Orders Work

Placing an order and receiving an order confirmation email does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (e.g. product out of stock, pricing error, credit issues). If we cancel your order after payment, we will refund to your original form of payment. Payment in full is due before dispatch.

Prices & Payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (if applicable).

We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apply Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. 

Shipping and Delivery

• We ship only within Australia.
• All orders are shipped within 1-3 business days of purchase. 
• Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout.
• Orders shipped within Australia include free shipping over $70 with 5-7 day Standard Post. If you require Express Post, you can select that at the checkout for an additional cost. 
• We use third‑party couriers. While we aim for prompt delivery, we are not liable for delays or failures caused by the courier, weather, or other events outside our control.
• If a Product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will notify you, and you may cancel or substitute the item.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your product, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for any product that does not match the description. 

For all returns or refunds, please contact us via email at returns@ajsociete.com.au with your order details and reason. A member of the team will be in touch shortly to assist with your enquiry. 

Products eligible for return include:

• The product was purchased in the last 14 days
• The product is unused, with original packaging, in original condition
• You have proof of purchase
• Refunds will be processed to the original form of payment once the item has been received. 
• Shipping cost will not be reimbursed and the shipping of returned items is at the customer’s expense. 
• Sale Items are non-refundable and non-returnable.  

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, images, designs — is our property or licensed to us, and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Privacy & Data

We collect, use, disclose, and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information. 

Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

We exclude liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (e.g. lost profits, loss of data) arising from your purchase or use of the Products or Website. Our services and products are provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AJ Societe disclaims any liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business interruption, arising directly or indirectly from the use or inability to use our products or services, regardless of the legal theory under which such liability is claimed.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AJ Societe, its affiliates and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees)  arising out of or related to your use of our website, products, or services, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time by posting updated versions on the Website.

The updated Terms take effect immediately when posted. Your continued use of the Website or placing new orders constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
